Clifton is a small rural town approximately 50km north of Warwick and 50km south of Toowoomba, 8km off the New England H’way.

Population – approximately 1,000 in town, 2700 in the district.

The annual horse races form part of Clifton’s Country Week celebrations.
Another great attraction to Clifton is the Clifton Railway Station which is the second oldest working station in Queensland. A old steam train regularly comes to Clifton bringing visitors to the district.
